Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello there, I farm dm east lashers on my priest to earn gold and due to the crazy ban hammers recently I'd like to get some input on if dm east farming is bannable. I know that dm east farming has been a thing on every single private server and on retail, but you can't be too careful it seems on nostralrius. I have invested a lot of time into my priest and don't want to risk my account, please let me know.

honestly im curious to know this as well as I do this on my paladin.

Well they keep fucking about with DM North for hunters and they leave the mages untouched, seems shitty to me.

Want to be safe? Don't farm through any traditional means.

Kill mobs only. Through the GM's recent completely asinine logic, most farming methods could be argued as exploiting, inadvertent or not (herbs, dungeon farming, chest frming, etc).

If they are banning, and customizing the game to limit the amount of gold you can make, DME is probably up next on the chopping block.

Probably not ban worthy, would bet my account on it.

(this was awhile ago, I currently have 28k kills and not banned)

Can we please have official GM-sanctioned confirmation that AOE-farming the lasher packs in Dire Maul East is a 100% Nostalrius-approved A-okay legitimate way to farm gold which will -under no circumstances- result in an arbitrary character ban with no warning, even if said farming is done at industrial levels (i.e. 500+ resets!).

Just don't do it in industrial amounts and you should be fine amirite
