Hello, I was warned today for safespotting
What does it mean exactly, for instance if I get on the top of a Gadgetzan or Kargath building to attack horde, and the guards can't reach me, is it safespotting?
What about if I attack horde at Light's chapel, out of range of the guards?
Thank you

Safespotting = standing in places where you're safe from guards/players cannot attack you back.

however, being out of range of guards is
NOT safespotting - it simply means that your target is either dumb and/or AFK and didn't position themselves close enough to offer protection from the guards

Oh, out of range is not safespotting, yeah. I thought he meant being able to evade the LHC guards by standing on a building or something.

Thanks for the answers
If I get on top of a building in a pvp zone (no guards), I would be fine then ? The only way for a melee to reach me is to climp up the same way I did

that's dicey if the only way up was wall climbing but otherwise yes you would be fine

Thanks, another example if you would. If I use slowfall to get on top of blacksmith in arathi basin and defend the flag from there, is it safespotting?

yes, that's safespotting in my view - whether the dev here consider it as well I'm not sure though
