Can not connect after changing password.

I changed password and now can not log in.

Nor Can I log into site. Made new account and could log into that one.
Should I just wait till I can access the forgot password option?
Or was I some how banned? I not sure what error you get when banned. But I pretty sure its to do with the password change.
