EVERY SINGLE DAY! Not just one, not an occasional occurance that happens quite often.. It is every. single. DAY! What causes the server to crash for several people, stick to retrieving toons list for 10 minutes and glues you to the loading screen for another 7?

It appears like a recurring crash bug may have developed. You should report this problem to developers like
Clank, though it is likely that they are already aware of it.

This has been going on for months. Every day at 11:30 EST.
It's not a huge issue, it's probably just a server backup that happens at that time.

Hi,
The last server crash was
2015-09-21 01:51:45 (server time)
The issue you have is not a server crash, but maybe a high load.
What is the corresponding server time ?

I haven't noticed it myself, but that would be 5:24 AM server time.

This happens every day at around 5:30am CET (server time).
For about 10 to 15 minutes, if you log out and log back in you will get stuck loading on the character selection screen for 5 or so minutes. It clears up after that though. It's not a crash, as long as you don't log out you do not notice the issue.
I wouldn't expect it to be due to high load, as this is not during a typical high load time.

Sounds like a database backup to me, back up is most likely running and causing queries to queue till it's completed.
