AV Blue Item Quest Switch needs GM attention!!!!

As i am sure some people have already noticed the recent patch switched the blue item AV quest rewards from the "Legends of korrak" to "Hero of the frostwolf" ( Considering your horde ). Now there is a very unlucky few that actually completed the hero of the frostwolf quest before the patch and didn't complete legends of korrak. Now after patch we're unable to get the quest "Hero of the frostwolf" and had "Legends of Korrak" removed from quest log. Now this wouldn't have really bothered me had it not rewarded such crucial loot to my class(Hunter). Now after some research i discovered that WoW didn't intend for this to occur and actually had GM's (if they were ticketed ) switch the available quests from AV quests giver's. Worst part about this whole ordeal was i had a korrak kill 6 nights before patch not actually get awarded to me. It scares me to think this is something blizzard GM's did only to keep a paying customer happy. That being the scary part here i'm not a paying customer and there motivation to keep me happy i'm sure is virtually not existent. Just would be nice to see if this is something GM's could help with, like when this problem originally occurred . Character name is Likacrit ( Horde ) been enjoying the server otherwise!! I have the same issue.
I did "The Battle of Alterac" before the patch, and it seems that this is now a condition to get "Hero of the Frostwolf". Unfortunately I'm unable to get this last quest. I don't know if there is any other mean to get it but it's quite frustrating.

I'm having the same issue. Just handed in the Korrak quest but had already done the Hero-quest before the patch, could really use the crossbow

I am literally having the same issue as well on my 51 warrior, SirrBeatDown.... is there any way the GM's can help us with getting the reward?

Same issue here, I've been trying to get Korrak for weeks but the spawn it 2 hours and of course I've won AV in that time and completed the quest. Suddenly I can't get a really good Xbow because of changes......not fair at all.

Also wanted to add, for me it seemed when I got this quest it skipped to the repeatable version, the one titled "the return of Korrak", which is after the very first quest where you kill him and actually get the reward.

I am in the same position. Cleared both quests today - Korrak & The Battle of Alterac. Korrak gave no weapon reward and The Battle of Alterac had no followup quest (so right now, these weapons are unobtainable, which was never the case in vanilla at no point). Been farming for that polearm for three days now..

Hoping for a solution.
