Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I currently have a cooking skill of 127 and would like to get Journeyman Cooking. However, whenever I go to learn at any trainers (Stormwind, IF, even in Dolanaar where I originally trained it), I am unable to progress because I somehow haven't yet learned Apprentice cooking, despite the 127 cooking. I am also unable to learn Apprentice cooking.

Well...that's confusing isn't it. How is it you are able to cook to level 127 without having learned how to cook to that level.

no, i am able to cook, i am able to learn new recipes. i just can't learn journeyman cooking because somehow i dont know apprentice cooking according to the trainers

I'm having a similar issue, not able to learn a specialization for Engineering.

Journeyman is only to 150 right? You're almost done. Why don't you just learn the new recipes and be done with it regardless of not being able to learn the previous level which you have long since passed.

Because I wanted to get up to max cooking, not just stop at Journeyman

At this point, it seems plausible to me that if you get it to 150, you can go to the trainers in the list provided above and get the next levels.
