Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I have 2 tamed pets. A lvl 60 cat stabled and a lvl56 worg I was leveling. I stabled my lvl56 worg and went to AV to try and tame a frostwolf. Naturally when i got there i realized they are not tameable. No big deal. I continued on to join the battle without a pet.

After being killed, when i rezzed at the graveyard, a new lvl60 "bloodaxe worg" spawned with me. Same pet as i had recently tamed only 4 levels higher. The pets nameplate says:
Bloodaxe Worg
Scarshield Legion
Choupique's pet

It doesnt say "wolf" or anything generic like after you tame a creature.

Now the problem with this is, I am unable to get rid of this new pet. I cannot exchange it out with any of my other pets at the stable master. There is no "pet" tab in my character window. When right clicked there is no option to "abandon pet". There is no "pet details" when clicked either. When the pet first appeared, it was 'unhappy', not really realizing what was going on, i fed it back to happy. Now, whenever the pet dies it does not loose happiness, so i am unable to kill it off until it runs away. The pet has the basic starting abilities/skills of the blodaxe worgs: bite/dash/furious howl, but the pet WILL NOT use the abilities whether they are set to use automatically nor when clicked manually. I can send the pet to attack a target, and pull it back with follow, and it will do white melee/pet attacks but it will not do special attacks. Also i have logged off and on numerous times over the last 2 days while playing and the pet remains.

I would really like to be gone of this pet. Any advice from others or help from a GM would be most appreciated.

have the exact same issue. Happened in AV aswell, but i didnt use pet tame. Its ongoing for 6 days now and gimping my hunter experience.

I think the pet tame aspect was just coincidental. I think it is more about dieing in AV when all pets are in the stable then being rezzed in with the new pet.

Either way its extremely annoying. Ive been "ok" running a few instances with the bugged pet as just a little more DPS, but soloing/questing/farming is pretty much out of the question. Id also like to be able to use my cat again while PVPing instead of the wolf.

Unfortunately this does NOT fix the issue. I have tried this multiple times now to no avail.

Same exact problem. Happened yesterday. Stuck with this Bloodaxe Worg.

use /script PetAbandon()

The capital made the difference.

I have the same problem since two days, with the pet : Dire mottled Boar.

Can you help me to resolve this problem?

Same problems with pet; Script didn't work... Character name; Zorrisima
