Characters stuck - Continously running

by Noleo » Thu Oct 08, 2015 6:58 pm

Hello,

I logged in to my warrior (L26) in Westfall this evening and when I tried to move I got stuck. The character is continuously running on the same spot which means that logout/unstuck/HS is impossible to use.

I got summoned by a Warlock to Ironforge but I had the exact same problem as soon as my character teleported there as well.
I also tried logging in to my level 3 Rogue in Northshire Abbey and upon trying to move that character also runs continuously on the same spot.

Finally I created a new level 1 Night Elf and I was able to move with that character.

Tried logging back onto my L26 in Ironforge but the problem remained. It almost looks like everything's not loading since every exit/tunnel etc in Ironforge that are about 60-80 yards away just seems to be a "blue wall". The players that pass by close to me seem to be lagging. They "teleport" 3-4 yards instead of moving smoothly.

Fyi: I tried relogging with no add-ons at all, same issue.

Have you tried dying?

On the new characters I create I seem to be stuck in a small area with invisible walls.
Objects doesn't seem to load fully around me.

How do you suggest that I die in Ironforge? :) And this problem seems to be account wide, not just one character.

Hello again,

I'm glad to say I found a solution.
I renamed the WTF-folder to WTF.old in order to get a newly created folder.
This somehow solved my issue so now i'm able to run again even though I have to assign my keybindings and addon settings again. :-)

Thank you for your concern and suggestion.
