Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello,
Ive just decided to start playing on Nostalrius - but i have an issue that i cant seem to solve. When i try to logon i just get the "Unable to connect" message (as if im not connected to the internet.) Ive followed the configuration guide (viewtopic.php?f=6&t=638) completely, and it wont let me login. Does anyone know if this is a common issue?
