Using AutoHotkey to bind mousewheel/other buttons bannable?

I'd like to bind my mouse wheel and some other mouse buttons as hotkeys, but WoW won't let me use them as custom inputs for keybinds. However, I can use AHK to bind them so that, for example, whenever I use the scroll wheel, the client thinks I'm pressing space, and it's no problem to bind space to a spell or whatever.

There's no automation going on, one click = one action, etc., its just WoW doesn't let me customize scroll wheel and some side mouse buttons for other functions and auto hotkey can "trick" the client into customizing those binds.

Is Nost cool with this? Couldn't find a definitive answer anywhere.

I can't believe you would even think that is an option. It's still third party software... And have you even tried going to your options and using the mouse wheel to bind to keys? It works perfectly fine for me. Sounds like you're trying to automate something and not telling us.

Try it so the rest of us can see if your poke-the-bear-with-a-stick is a success.

lol you said you wanted to bind it to space which is jump. In the targeting functions of your bindings tab is Target Nearest Friend which is Control + Tab. It also will target players. As far as interacting I think you would need a script or macro for that (if it's not protected) as it is not in the options to target nearest NPC.
