Dissapeared quest item.

Hello! After I logged my shaman today, I cannot find an item, which was in my backpack and it`s required to complete the quest. I cannot find Samophlange Manual. Last time I logged out it was not a server crush, and I had it in my backpack. Can you please help me, and retrieve it?

Now, I just had a reply from GM that they do not restore any lost items, without any asking or even actual conversation. And the ticket is closed of course.
But my item was given me by a quest giver, at the beggining of the quest chain. It`s impossible to obtain it, neither to abandon the whole chain and begin it again. It`s not my fault that somehow this item got dissapeared from my backpack, why I have to start all the chain over again?
