BUG: Can't get invited and can't talk /1 chat

I was recently playing, and I was about to join a party to do the 'Defias Traitor' quest, but the leader couldn't invite me because I was in a party. I looked at my game and I wasn't in a party, I tried talking in /1 chat and that didn't even work. Any work arounds?

it happens very frequent to me. Tried rebooting PC, WoW and everything :/
