Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I have killed Korrok 2 times now and both times the quest makes the sound as if I have completed the quest. But i get no reward. Both times Horde Have tagged and pulled Korrok and killed him. Not greyed out and I still cannot get my item. Is this quest bugged?

I just did this quest yesterday and it worked fine. The bug you are seeing I had that problem as well when the quest was not complete it shows as if you can turn it in but you cannot. Korrak does not go grey no matter who gets the tag he is red to both factions. The only way to be sure your faction got the tag is to see people loot his head.
