i wanted to buy Ace of Elementals, one guy told me he will cod it to me. i tellhim 80g! then he tells me 100g and deal! so i accepted it . it was not ace of elementals in the mail and i lost 100g. we dont want thses kinds of people on the server, and i think i can speak for everyone playing there. i dont even remember his name but you should be able to check logs and identify this scamming tool. it was yesterday around 23:00 servertime he sent the mail, and this morning around 06:30 servertime i accepted the mail and paid 100g for an item i didnt order. false advertisement is pain when u fall for it

i don't believe anyone will do anything about it.

You failed to see that it's 20g more... 3 digits instead of 2.
You also failed to see that he placed something else in mail.
You also failed to memorize his name.

What you should have done is:

- take a screenshot of his mail with visible name
- post a topic on general section
- explain what happened

It would be even more humiliating for the scammer if you posted it without falling for it.
Think and watch better next time.

Do not post in forums for scams. If you do that, the GMs will just tell you to make an in-game ticket.

The proper route is to take a screenshot of the mail, hovering the mouse over the COD item so you can see the price and also who sent it to you. Post that pic to some place like imgur so you can link to it. Then open an in-game ticket under Stuck->Still Stuck, link the screen shot, and explain that the person is scamming.

This applies to COD type scams mostly, but also for players scamming by offering to make something, then stealing the mats, and other types of scams. All scams reported like this with proof will result in the scamming player's account being permanently banned without warning.

Note that your gold is lost forever, you won't get it back in any case. The GMs are also not likely to go through logs and check this; there are way too many players here for them to do that for every reported scam case. Just be more careful next time.
