Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I have tried to find information about possibility for changing names of a char. What I have found is that there is no mechanism to be able to do that and will probably not be implemented.

I’m writing this post to hear if maybe GM:s or anyone else from the Nostalrius team maybe has the possibility to do a name change science I messed up with the naming of my char. I took my wife’s old char name from our first wow playing days thinking this was a way to honour that name. Turns out that after 2 months of playing she wants to play on Nostalrius as well and demands the name back. This means that I either have to delete my char or can get help with renaming it.

Feels really sad to have to delete my char having played it for this time and even worse since I want my wife to be able to play. And YES, she is that stuborn about the name...

it technically is possible to change a character's name but it isn't done because of wrong name choices.

If they do it once, they'll have to do it for everyone

so no, never going to happen

Tell your wife to give you your balls back. Are you honestly going to delete a char you've been playing just because it has a name that your wife wants to use? Stand up for yourself man...

delete you toon and lvl up togheter with you wife.
it wil be a better experience instead of letting her lvl alone or boosting her.
