[modelediting] can an allowance be set?

I have a small mpq file that changes dwarf females to undead males

this is it so you can see what I'm doing with an mpq editor: http://www8.zippyshare.com/v/mJy3fKCS/file.html

is it possible you can allow this through your scanner so I don't get disconnected every 5 minutes? I'm not editing a WSG flag or something, doesn't affect gameplay unfairly in any way

thanks <3

This is exactly one of the reasons model-edit is NOT permitted.

EXAMPLE:
Rolling a gnome has advantages in PvP.
The model, with some buffs, become so little that's actually quite impossible to mouse-target it.
Permit model-editing takes away this kind of advantages.

no it doesn't, because only you see the modeledit lol, to everyone else you're still a tiny gnome with noggenfogger etc

you sure you know how modelediting works?

this is why I said it doesn't affect anyone else and it doesn't give me any sort of advantage in gameplay

a lot of people (not just me) like the ud male models man

From what you wrote (the thing I quoted) seems like you want to change EVERY dwarf female to undead male.
You even used plural.
You didn't talk about changing YOU OWN model.

So in the case you wanna change models, that would be an advantage for you.
Obviously model-edit, being client-side, only affect your client.
That's why you would get an unfair advantage.

Anyway, I guess they won't allow that as well.

Their policy is "No model-edits".

yeah unfortunately they all change to ud males, but how would that net me an advantage? I play alliance side myself

I'm hoping for some leniency cause this really isn't a massive thing

Anything with a larger model becomes easier to target and therefore gives you an advantage in PvP even if its just a minor one, you may want to turn dwarves into undead but what about someone who wants to turn all gnomes into Tauren? You have an inherent advantage as a smaller target and turning all small targets into large ones takes away that small, pardon the pun, advantage.

hence why I'm asking if it isn't too hard to code that dwarf female -> ud male be allowed (f.eg. make an allowance in the scanner for the file I posted idk)
