Found a possible hacker

by Trickz » Mon Nov 09, 2015 2:43 am

Lumpyhumper is his name.

Told him to meet me at the Flight Master in Stormwind. He agreed upon that since i was going to boost him in Deadmines.

But the odd thing was, i could not see him on the map when i clicked M. However i could still track him on the Minimap. I went to the Dwarven District and i noticed something REALLY weird..

It looked like he was moving through walls and buildings. And no he was not on a Gryphon. He was running at normal speed and he even made it to the Flight Master BEFORE ME from the Dwarven District..

This makes no sense at all and i do not have any screenshots of it. However i hope if he is a hacker, the anti-cheat system can track him and his logs to ban him.

You should make in-game tickets for reports like these, in case he is in fact hacking and is alerted by the forum post.

Yes, actually they do. I have made quite a few tickets, and it has always been handled. Not always immediately, as with so many players it can take them some time to get to it. My most recent one was last week, reporting someone for scamming. I was PST'd by a GM directly.

You need to open the ticket under Stuck -> Still Stuck (page a GM).
