Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello. My game is running really slow for some reason. It worked perfectly when i first started playing on nostalrius but for some reason now it's really slow and somtimes laggy, i don't know if it's on my end or not.

Example. i get lag spikes when my camera zoomes out. and i don't know how to make it stop.

It's also really slow, when i try to apply my poison it applys before the bar is even complete.

And same with mount up.

I'v also experienced some delay when trying to kill a mob, somtimes my character dosn't strike the target. and it's really slow.

This never happend in the beguining. Please help me

I'v tried reinstalling the game.

I'v looked through pretty much every "lag" forum post on the forum.

i'v tried the developer console, and the smoothness forum post.

I'v tried alot of stuff. and i don't know what to do anymore.

We need more information than just "I am lagging". Dies this happen all the time or is it worse at different times during the day?

We need to figure out if this is an fps or network issue. Login ingame and go over the latency bar next to your bags. What is your latency? Watch it for a bit, does it fluctuate? Next, click cntrl R to show your fps. What is your fps? Does it change a lot?

Also if you are on wifi try an ethernet connection to see if it improves. If not, go to www.speedtest.net and run a test to see if its on your end. Post those results

It happens all the time yes, It's never worse or fixes it self.

I have 100 down and 150 up. my MS is 30 and my fps is 60

150 upload? That seems improbable, run the test again and then copy the link here so i can look. Or take a screenshot. Do the same with http://www.pingtest.net post both links please when you run them.

Also, go into a big city and keep watching your FPS its not moving at all? Screenshots would be nice so I can actually see it. Also, have you had issues running any other online games?

EDIT: the action bar delay you talked about points to network issues. The server has been more laggy than normal recently so it could be an issue between your ISP and nost servers. Where are you located?

Another example is : If i type when i login OR if i type in chat it's like a 0.2 sec delay so when im done typing a letter it won't show until im done with the next one.

I do, your english isnt bad. Let me clarify, does it delay letters when you type? For example, if you type wasd, do the letters appear delayed from when you typed it? Or does it delay to send? Like you click enter and it takes 2 seconds to send and show up.

And also, i only get fps drops in like orgrimmar, nowhere els.

Please use internet explorer and enable JAVA, the packet loss is important in the pingtest. Run pingtest again with java and repost please.

From what I can tell it seems to be your computer hardware/software since it delays an input response. This is tricky because its really hard to figure out exactly whats wrong, youll need to clean up your computer first and see if it's malware slowing down your hardware.

Download CCcleaner (google it) and run it to clean up junk files ect. Next run a full antivirus scan and let it run its course. If you dont have an antivirus you're wrong, you always should have one. AVG free antivirus is a good free one, use that for now.

Once you finish the virus scan go to system tools and do a defragmentation of your main harddrive. After all that is done, tell me how your computer is running. We will go from there
