Disconnected from the Server

Hey !
I have problems to join the game.
I made an account and I have the 1.12.1 Version from classic-wow.org.
After I changed the realmlist.wtf to "set realmlist login.nostalrius.org" I wanted to start playing.
So I came to the Login-Screen and entered my Accountname and my password. After this it says directly "Serververbindung unterbrochen/ Disconnected from the Server"
I hope you can help me solve this problem because I really would like to start this epic journey through Vanilla WoW.

What you describe sounds like your password or account name is being entered incorrectly.

Be sure you've had a look at the beginner's guide at viewtopic.php?f=32&t=638.

Did you actually make a forum account rather than a game account? Since you are posting on the forums, you should have both. Game accounts and forum accounts are distinct; one won't work for the other. In that case, go to the https://en.nostalrius.org page, and click the "Join Us" button at the top. Otherwise, make sure you are using the correct account name, not the forum name to log in

If there is nothing obvious, go to https://en.nostalrius.org, and click the "Login" button at the top - see if you can log in using the game account name and password you chose. If not, try changing your password by clicking on "Forgot your password?."
