Ridiculously low peformance issues

Hello
In short, this is my PC

AMD Phenom II 1055T (overclocked to 3.3GHz, x6)
AMD Radeon HD 7850 (860MHz/1200MHz 1GB GDDR5)
4GB DDR3@1600MHz

Full DxDiag at
http://pastebin.com/PuzaZ6ki

When I'm standing in Ironforge with about 50 people in my field of view, my FPS is about 18.

Things I've tried that have had no effect on FPS whatsoever:
Changing all options available in Main Menu -> Video Options to minimum possible.
Changing all options available in Main Menu -> Video Options to maximum possible.
Overclocking my GPU clocks by 15% respectively.
Underclocking my GPU clocks by 70% respectively.
Turning on some of your fancy modern AMD CPU optimizations.
Turning them off.
Rerolling rogue.
Giving WoW.exe process Realtime priority.
Giving it any other priority.
Updating GPU drivers.
Disabling all addons.

My task manager reports WoW.exe takes up 100% available processor time of only a single core when my char is anywhere except the most vacant areas. Seeing that underclocking the GPU bore no effect, I would suspect underclocking the CPU core by 50% would reduce FPS by as much.
Which is exactly what happened.

Are you telling me our 2010 processors can't run this Warcraft III engine game?

What would you guys suggest me try in hope of making it more playable? Clearly running BWL's suppression rooms is brutal when facing these problems (was 8-10 fps with the entire raid + whelps in corner today).

The early Warcraft engine is notoriously terrible.

Part of the reason for the Warcraft aesthetic is because of just how awful their engine was. You can only have large, blocky characters in the engine if you want it to support large numbers of units in play. And you can only
make those models look good with bright pastels and cartoony features.

Good luck fixing your shit.

It's not your GPU's fault stop messing with it, vanilla WoW is CPU reliant (single core) and since you have AMD CPU I Have bad news for you. The architecture for your CPU is ancient and the single core performance of AMD CPUs is pathetic. Try overclocking (Guess the 3,3Ghz you have now is just the turbo boost not actual OC), or sell your MoBo and CPU and buy an Intel one.

Yeah wow is more or less the reason i switched to Intel at some point, the fps was just much higher with a core i3 then with a Phenom II even in sandy bridge days.

I suggest getting a Skylake Pentium or Core i3 if you only play wow as there is no use for a i5 for this game, even a 3.3GHz skylake Pentium will perform much better even though the GHz is the same. Also 8gb ram may help if you are like everyone else and have 8 tabs of chrome/firefox open while you play wow

It definitely does not have anything to do with your GPU

Even a first gen i3 would perform a lot better, hell even the PentiumG rerelease would.

Although this thread isn't about your exact problem, there are several good ideas here that should help improve FPS.
