Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I just recently started playing on Nostalrius. I have noticed that a lot of times when I am trying to send a message through "/s" or "/1" my message never sends. I don't see a bubble over top of my head either. Not sure if this is a normal issue. Please let me know if there is something I can do to fix it.

i got the same issues but its working after a couple of minutes.

I get this problem about half the time I play. It's very inconvenient.

This is the spam functionality kicking in. It is very sensitive at low levels, and you may even risk a ban if you keep trying to send text messages!

It is annoying, and the only advice I can say is to avoid chatting until you've reached level 10 (?).

Perfect, thank you Mimma! I figured it had something to do with being a lower level, and a new account. Just wasn't sure if it was server lag causing it or not.
