Gold, from Horde too Alliance

Hello

Ive started to lvl a horde character, when I allready have a 60 hunter, I have farmed tons of gold on my hunter, and my question is:

Is it illegal to put a crap item for sale in booty bay for 2000g. and buy it With my hunter? Or is it allowed?
