Stuck on Retrieving Character list???

Im stuck on retrieving character list? any ideas as to why?

Me too I disconnected on the pvp realm and now I can't get in, is the server down?

I am having the same problem! I can connect to other servers like the PvE one but not the PvP

This happens a lot unfortunately. They say it has to do with the server being busy, but it doesn't seem to correlate with peak times (only 3k on right now) or in game lag. I think there is a background issue that remains unaddressed. It usually goes away in 5-10 minutes. This one seems a bit longer for me.

Yeah it happened around the same time last night. didnt last very long. but tonight seems to be much different. even after getting my character list, the game wont load fully for any of my toons.

^Same for me, eventually get to the character list but loading screen gets stuck.

Same thing was happening to me. Now I'm getting insta-disconnected after authentication succeeds. Seems slightly different from the usual 5-10 min of not being able to retrieve char list.
