Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Stuck on retrieving character list for 10 minutes, then I get my character list. Log on a character, then get stuck fully loaded on the loading screen indefinitely. Anyone else experiencing this / found a solution? This is the second post I've submitted, first one never appeared on the forums...
