Forgot Username

Hello mr. GM

I have a friend who has decided to start playing again, after being off for half a year.
Problem is that he forgot his username, and cannot check it in the wow folder, because he reinstalled the game.

There is no "forgot username" option, so what do we do?

He's got a dwarf warrior character name Yorg, which is on my friendlist, and he says probably also a level 1ish character named Silkk and Fabioz.

You'll have to try real hard to remember the username. I don't believe that there is a username recovery system in place at the moment outside of checking your folders or your email that was used to set up the account. The staff will not give you the username.

Glenzig is correct: GM's does not give out Username / Account name or Email information for security reasons.

If your friend cannot remember his account name, then checking the WTF folder and the activation mail is the only methods.

Did you get an activation mail? I didn't. I just checked my whole mailbox. -and neither did he.

He cannot see it in his account folder, because he deleted the game when he stopped playing.

No, he is not gonna get his account back if he cannot remember his account name.
