Greetings,

If you buy or sell gold, or otherwise become involved in the action of gold trafficking, your account will be banned. If you follow the rules like 95% of players, you will be fine.

Regards, GM Team

Example:

If someone buys gold, and buy stuff from AH with that gold, will the person recieving that gold will be banned aswell? Or, I want to sell an item, someone with bought gold will buy it from me, will I be banned?

I think you gm's have to be more specific when you tell people "gold trafficking"

Greetings,

We have a variety of techniques for determining whether an illegal gold transaction has taken place. For obvious reasons, we do not reveal these.

But to answer the above post directly: Putting an item up on the AH for a normal, competitive price is never a problem.

Normal AH activity isn't going to raise any red flags. If your selling an item for its normal value and someone buys it that happens to have bought that gold, how would you even know? There is no implied guilt in that situation. However, if you regularly post items on the AH for super inflated prices, and they always end up selling-not counting item transfers on the Neutral AH- then there is strong reason for the staff to look at your account.
No one can ever be 100% sure that they have never received bought gold from selling on the AH. So don't worry about using the auction house as it was intended.
