Issue with ticket system? Sorry if wrong place

Hey everyone,
Let me start off by apologising if this is in the wrong place, I couldn't find a ticket area of the forum and technical issues felt like the closest thing.
Basically the issue is this. I ignorantly bought two Vendetta daggers not realising they are Uniques and that you can only carry one, so I set out to sell the other. I learned that I couldn't carry both or have one in my inventory and one in my bank, so the only way to set out to trade one was to vendor the other and buy it back. I got a trade offer so I vendored mine, set out to the trade, but disconnected half way through while in the Stormwind - Ironforge train area due to bad connection on my part. I completed the trade, set off to buy back my Vendetta, and obviously the buyback had reset during the disconnect.
I attempted to put in an item ticket explaining this, but I after submitting it only said "Game Masters do not handle bug reports".
Is there anything I can do?
