Guild events and sending gold.

Hello, hopefully I can get a GM to reply to this.

I know recently there has been an issue with people buying gold, and some apparently have been banned unfairly (yet to be determined).

So my situation. My guild is rather large and sometimes I like to do guild events, and that includes prizes with gold. Now obviously I am kind of nervous about this and not sure if I should do anything like this for the time being due to the banning issues.

So my question to GMs, should I definitely 100% hold off on this for now? I don't want to get banned for falsely giving away people gold in mailboxes.

I like to do events with my guild, but I am now definitely hesitant in regards to giving away gold. Thanks.

Doing events and giving away gold as prizes which doesn't include some sort of illegal transaction (Money for Gold, Money for being allowed to participate in the event, etc) should be more than fine.

If you get banned, because of their detection, just write an unban appeal.
When you played legitimate without taking money for anything you should be unbanned anyways.
