Hello.
The problem is that all the settings, I.E bar position, windows etc all reset upon closing the client.
The settings however do NOT reset. So sct still scrolls correctly.
I have not downloaded anything new, kept the same addons for months without this problem. Insanely annoying to play now.
Thanks in advance.

I had a similar problem, which got solved by launching WoW NOT as administrator.
That was weird since the recommendations I was given were exactly the opposite.

I have been using it as non-admin. If I used the administrator everything got borked. Even my hotkeys.

When you don't launch the game as administrator, wow.exe might not have the rights to write in the drive that you installed it to. For this reason it puts all the config file in a temp folder.
For this reason also, when you launch the game as administrator, the game looks for the config file in the default wow directory, but can't find anything because it's all saved in the temp folder.
This is the probable location of the temp folder: C:\Users\*your account name*\AppData\Local\Virtual Store\Program Files\World of Warcraft
I think the following solution might work. Go in this folder. copy paste everything into the wow directory where it should be. This is all in the WTF folder. Then from now on only open wow as administrator.
If that doesn't work or if you can't figure out how to transfer the config files, just launch the game as admin, redo your hotkeys and settings, and only launch as admin from now on.
