Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Last night I had Felcloth Gloves Crafted (and I equipped them) as well as 2x Brilliant Wizard Oil on my character. I logged on this morning and my character does not have the gloves equipped and my Brilliant Wizard Oil is missing. I don't so much care about the wizard oil as I do the gloves since it took me forever to farm the mats. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Were the Felcloth Gloves wrapped into a gift?

Items can apparently disappear if they were wrapped into gifts.

I don't know how gamemasters are going to decide in this case, but normaly they don't recover lost Items.
