Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello. I was questing in Felwood and suddenly this priest guy named Phate mindcontrols a mob and uses its ability to kill me, a bunch of mobs and a friend.

He obviously knew what he was doing and had probably done it for a long while.

Killing you with a Mind Controlled mob isn't a bug or an exploit in itself, but indeed, it seems the mobs didn't have any cooldown on its abilities. Wasn't this bug already reported & fixed during beta ?
