Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello,

I recently completed the ZG quest to recieve the item Strength of Mugamba

I didn't know this item was required to complete the quest chain for Rage of Mugamba so I deleted it because I was low on bag space.

Is it possible to have the quest chain reset so I can get a new Strength of Mugamba, or possibly even restore the deleted item?

I don't mind doing the quest from the beginning again, the problem is now when I go to the quest giver he only has part 2 available to me and it requires the green item that I deleted.

GMs don't have the privilege to restore items. Would be interesting if they still can reset quests tho.

Ouch that sucks, but I don't think they reset quests neither since that will give you an unfair adventage unless they rollback the xp and item/cash rewards

From what I have read and what the in game GM's have told me the NPC should hand out the original quest reward even if you have already received it before. The item is unique and cannot be sold to a vendor.

I have the same issue, yet didn't receive any kind of help or even an answer from staff so far.

I had to open multiple tickets in game. The first one told me I would have to redo the quest because they cannot restore deleted items. I opened a second ticket saying I was unable to redo the quest and I was then told to open a ticket on the bugtracker. I am reporting this issue to the bugtracker now.
