Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi, new player here. When I first started it would give me a message saying "Can't do that yet" every time I treid posting in general chat. I've read that you need to reach either level 5 or 10. Well I've reached level 5 and now when I try to use any chat channel my posts still won't show up, but it also doesn't give me a message saying "can't do that yet" anymore, so I don't know what's going on.

Tried relogging multiple times, didn't work. I've tried the only other solution I've found which is to type /leave 1 then /join general and my posts still aren't showing up in chat, nor am I getting that "can't do that message" either.

Don't know what else to do save from reinstalling, which I'd really rather not.

Maybe try actually leveling to 10?

You should level to 15 before using the chat channels, or you risk being banned by the spam protection.
