Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Ive not been with nostalrius long, but i love the server and levelled my car to 60 in under 2 weeks.
I registered the account to the same email address i use everything for (including this forum) And because I wish to change my password, (somthing i have regularly done for security issues since original vanilla) The forgot password link does not work for me!. i get the error incorrect username/ email address. when i know the username is correct because i can log in and out of game and onto the account within a matter of seconds. i can even log into my account on the nostalrius login page, but no matter what i try i cannot log a password reset request. i cannot even see what email address i registered with to see if i made a typo because there is no email verification request. and i proved this when making a new account with my email address, no verification received. i would like to know what steps i need to take to simply reset my password and make sure i haven't made a typo when entering my email address.
