Its not bannable, I would post you screenshots from a GM confirming its not bannable, but everyone knows by now that its not. Plus im not at my PC .
This is simply a spot that the aggro range of the guards doesnt cover, its not like the guards see you but cant reach you because you are abusing some roof. On top of that, there shouldnt be guards at all at current patch in lhc afaik, but thats not handleable on a 12k population server, hence the loop hole that allows you to pvp still seems perfect. Would add way more guards once naxx arrives.

It was possible (Dunno about now) to abuse this spot by attacking other players standing on the other side right through the ramp leading to the church, which is clearly against the TOS.

Well as said Im melee... . It is pvp for me. But what is pvp in vanilla apart from a grind, so most people jsut do it to farm.

Safespotting are people that get on top of building where guards cannot get to them (trying - but unable). The situation at EPL (and other locations as well) is that there are deadzone areas where players can attack others and guards are too far away to intervene (same thing goes on at the Tanaris flightpaths - horde AND alliance). If you stand in these deadzones, attack a player, and then move closer to the guards. They WILL attack you.
