Hi. Was gonna send/sell an item over from from alliance to horde, Mantle of Thieves. I created the auction on Jasengenova at aprox 10:50 ST to buy it immediately after on my stationed horde character, as soon as i put the item on AH it got sold, i QQed to another person nearby and he said he just lost 2 items over AH around the same time.

I know you wont be able to restore items from scam but please try to trace the bot and ban it

I'm not a bot. Also, open a ticket if you suspect someone of botting.

There's quite a few threads about this. Yes, when you put it in the neutral AH, you're assuming some inherent risk. As the above poster stated, you can always make a ticket to ask for GMs to inspect the situation. Not sure why the above poster would say transferring items(gold) via neutral AH is against server policy though.

You are allowed to send gold between two characters on different factions that you play. Do note that large sums are obviously suspicious and will be investigated, in which case your account could be temporarily suspended while the investigation is on-going.

Good for you if you aren't using a bot. However, it has been stated several times by the staff that neutral AH transfers are completely fine.
To the OP. You really shouldn't expect to use the Neutral AH safely for item transfers. This was risky even on retail with 1/4 of the population there is currently on the pvp server. Do the math.
