Lately I've seen an increase in the number of people who comment and/or harass me because of my in-game name.
The name, is in Danish/Swedish/Norwegian, somewhat of a parody of the way to say being "hungover", however it does look like it offends some particular people. Not only have I grown very tired of being called out by simply having the name, without reason (from my point of view, since I like my name), but I've even had a few people give me some disturbing stories about "reminding them" of alcoholism and bad memories of parents etc. being alcoholics.
- For which I am sorry (!) if that's the case.
That's why I kindly ask for you to grant a chance to rename my character in-game.
I've already spent way too much time and effort on reputations, mounts, professions, PvP as well as noticeable rewards from different places - some unobtainable (pre-patched mounts etc).
I understand if this sounds vague, however accoording to your guidelines, I'm not fancying the thought of leaving my name out here, in case it's rejected. It could only mean more trouble for me, the way I see it.
- I believe this also represents a minor case within your naming policy, mostly focused around "drugs" and "harassment".
