Server Offline?

Sooooo... Im having a HUGE issue here! I dont know what the hell is going on in the server apparently its "online" but im not able to connect.
I start by opening WoW write my username and password. After that says "Disconnected" Is anyone else having this issue? Been like this ALL day for me now and its starting to really piss me off!
Is there a problem in the servers or am i the only one? Please Need HELP!

Post some advice or anything that could help me to get into game.
