It's Dangerous to go Alone quest bug

The silver Totem of Aquementas in the final quest chain part of the Linken quest is bugged. It does not remove the aura from Blazerunner, tried multiple times and still no luck.
This makes Blazerunner unkillable through Normal means.

i've seen people with the offhand, how did they manage to do this quest?

I honestly wonder how hard it is to use the bugtracker for people unfamiliar with anything that isn't WoW, a keyboard, and a mouse.

I've done the quest yesterday or the day before, worked perfectly fine.
Equip offhand, wait for the cooldown, engage Blazerunner, use the offhand with him as target.
