Loot went to wrong player

Was doing a dungeon and the healer accidentally released in the gauntlet for Zul'Farrak. Group member refused to stop and killed the boss and auto looted, so healer was unable to get any gear. I took the item [Jinxed Hoodoo Kilt] in hopes that a GM could transfer it to him. Do Nostalrius GM's do this kind of thing? Would be very helpful because we are trying to gear my friend for healing.
