Only solution for this shit is to make bannable those who chat in public channels with no english clients. Chinese clients don't let them talk in english/latin but nost still permit them to use it. By default players with chinese clients spaming blank texts and they are major problem at bgs.

Ban the clients with no english support. Its against the ToU because they change the client files and they don't have the ability to write english, the official language for talking to gms

i actually wrote a ticket about this and the GM said that /s and /y are exempt from the english only rule.

it is really annoying, when you stand around the bridge in if during china peak times you get lots of empty lines.

Do you have a screenshot of that convo? That just doesn't sound right. /S and /y should definitely be considered public channels.

/s channel is only local and I think its not consider as public. But /y is public.

The main problem is that chinese clients don't have the ablility to talk/respond english. So they can't even respond to gm or other players in english. I think this is against ToU and must be bannable. Now, most chinese act like nost is a chinese server and prefer to have the ability to write in chinese to their china friends and not to have the ability to communicate with others in english. Ban hammer please to those tactics ...
