Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Currently when mine layer has been killed all the mines will continue to respawn, I'm not sure it's intended since this didn't happen last time I did AV nor gives this any insensitive to kill the mine layer.

Could anyone explain or elaborate if this is intended?
