Posted: Sun Jan 24, 2016 9:07 pmEven still, When he relearns blacksmithing. I believe he'll still be stuck as weaponsmith. The one chance I believe his character has, is to possibly unlearn it from that book in Tanaris.

Posted: Sun Jan 31, 2016 10:52 ami still remember specifically doing this in vanilla from the trainers themselves. They have the option to do so, it just doesn't work.

Since the release of The Burning Crusade, you are now able to learn any of the weapon subspecializations, by talking to one of the appropriate three masters in Everlook, and asking them to teach you (though you must still have completed the weaponsmithing quest, as above). The quests, however, still rewards the same plans. These abilities can be unlearned for 100Gold and another weapon subspecialization can be learned in their place.
