PvP Server, character name: Rapehammer,

My friend was able to send mail to my character (indicating it still exists) but he is not in my character list anymore. Any ideas?

If he was deleted (harsh) for name issues I understand, however, I had conversations with GM's in game (I reported some botter) and they did not mention anything about it. Also, my friend has been sending me mail that's apparently been successfully going through, but when I login today my character is gone, so the mail is gone too... so the game still thnks my character exists, or at least the name.

make sure you are on the correct realm (not PvE).

make sure you are logging in on the correct account.

those are pretty much the only possibilities.

I considered those options, however, this is my only account, and no realms have any characters on them. At this point I'm almost assuming that they deleted my character for naming violations but just wanted to verify.

what Arev said. We do not delete characters for any reason. Offensive names get changed, not deleted. I can only think that someone else knows your account details and went ahead and deleted the character in question. Account security is solely the responsibility of the player and we do not restore deleted character.
