Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I'm on the Player versus Enemies server, and ,much of the information given to me by my client is incorrect. Things like the Spirit of Aquementas reading +20 spell power instead of 25 reduced casting cost of spells.

I play on a couple of different computers depending on the time of the day, so yesterday, I was glad to have gotten some pants with a massive healing bonus, to find later today that I had replaced pants that were probably much better. Much woe.

I deleted my WDB folder and restarted the client. That did nothing. What is the next step? Download an older client version from somewhere? I know not where, but it must be for Macintosh.

if you have deleted the WDB folder, then the server is sending you the correct information. You should not be able to play with any other version than the correct one: 1.12.1 patch client. Make sure that there are actually files insinde the WDB folder before you delete it - if it's empty, then the information might be stored elsewhere. Which Windows version? Come on. You know I'm not using windows. I said it needed to be a Macintosh version.
Thank you, though. There were indeed files in the folder, but I'll look around for more files elsewhere later.

Deleting the WDB is what you do to make your data current. The only other thing that could effect how you see items, is if you have any type of loot addon that is giving your statistics based on whatever patch it might think you are in. Operating system has no effect.

Pottu didn't say you were using windows, he said "ie" which means: as an example.

Ok first I've worked in IT for over 20 years and I'm not a programmer but know my way around Windows and Mac. I used to play on Windows at the beginning of the game but in the last 5 years I switched to a Mac.
I downloaded the client from Nos website works fine as far as playing. Zepps kick me off at arrival but I get featherfall so no worries there I get to where I am going and often arrive before the Zep.

However linked items are an issue. For example the Dreamweave Gloves and Vest show the following for my Mac Client: Increase damage done by Frost Spells and effects by up to 10. While on a player who has Windows Client it says: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 18.

I exited game and deleted the WDB folder and I have turned all addons off and still get the same. My question is this if my link stats are incorrect which will be the ones used by game? So if I say equip the Dreamweav vest will I get +18 general or will I get +10 Frost? Also this issue seems to be based in the Mac Client and not in the WDB or Addons used. Any feedback would be appreciated as many in my Guild use Mac.

This issue is 100% WDB related.
If the game is installed in Program Files the WDB you have to delete is in the AppData folder.

Thank you verified this as true. Our items are 1.3 if WDB files are newer it does not replace when logging in therfore giving incorrect stat data for items. Deleting WDB folder triggers download for current files.
