Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Every time I try to launch the game, my monitor blacks out and I get no response from my PC and I'm forced to do a manual restart. I have no WTF folder which I found odd. I copied my game directory over to my laptop and works fine on there, just no luck on my main rig.

Any help? I really want to play.

Have you tried renaming config.wtf to let WoW recreate this file? It holds your settings and reseting it might allow you to load the game. If that works, then you can systematically make changes to video/other settings until you either encounter the problem again (in which case make note of it and don't use that setting again) or everything works as normal.

Also, if you have no WTF folder, maybe create one manually and try running the game in Admin mode.
