Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Before I even explain what I'm experiencing I'd like to point out, I know absolutely nothing about priests. I am currently leveling my first ever priest, and I'm currently level 30, meaning I only just learned mind control.

Now the issue I'm facing is, when I'm questing alone, if there are too many mobs in one area for me to take on, I use mind control on one in hopes of wiping out as many as possible. However, 4/5 times that I've used Mind Control thus far, has lead to my 'minion' eventually turning on me after my channeling is over, however I can not attack it.

It's name is in red, and it's attacking me however, any time I try to attack it, I get the message across the screen saying that another action is in progress. This has lead to my death 3/4 times because I am unable to defend myself. The only thing I can do is run away, and sometimes I just can't lose aggro or I'm stuck in a tricky situation where running away aggros more mobs.

I would not contribute this to latency as my latency was in the green, sitting comfortable at it's normal range (110ms) at the time this happened. I would also like to point out, I don't believe it has anything to do with lag due to online population as there was just a little over 7k online the last time I used Mind Control.


Is this an issue other priests are currently facing? Is this a known issue when it comes to mind control? Or, is Mind Control somehow just bugged for me?

Any answers, or help of any kind would be greatly appreciated.

If you cannot attack a target after MC is broken/finished, that's a bug particular to you. I haven't heard mention of it before. Check the class sub-forum for priest.
