Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

My friend and I started playing a few days ago, and have been enjoying the server. Although everytime we try playing together on the same network, as soon as one tries connecting the other disconnects. Does anyone know the source of this problem, and have any potential solutions?
