When I take a boat from Orgrimmar to UC. Sometimes after switch the land map loading. I will suddenly appear on the ground in front of the boat tower.

Its called a zeppelin. And I guess you just teleported rather than actually traveled with it right? That happened to me once whileI was on a boat to Ratchet. I'm not sure but I think this was also happening on retail vanilla?
