I need help with a quest for shamans. It is to get the water totem, call of water part 6. I used the water sapta but i messed up and i couldn't finish the quest in time. now i can't get another one from the quest giver even if i abandon and retake the quest. someone told me it was a daily so i waited a day to retake the quest again but it didn't seem to work. Has anyone else had this problem? how can i get another one of these items to finish the quest in order to get the water totem. Thanks for all the help.

I guess if dropping/retaking the quest doesnt work your only vhance would be a gm giving you new sapta

Hi! hope you fixed it, I had this problem where my sapta got lost. and I couldn't figure out where to get it again (you can't). How I got around this was to group with another shaman on the quest, let them tag the mob. We kill it since once it's tagged it appears for all. I loot and omg finally I wasted so much time running around for nothing. Hope this helps.

The same thing happened to me, but I managed to solve it fairly easily.
Just drop a searing totem in the water just north of the little island where you're supposed to find the elemental.
The thing is, while you can't see it; the elemental is still there so when you do AOE damage it gets damaged as well and will attack you, making it visible.

I feel stupid not realizing it until' now, I prolly spend a good part of an hour trying to solve it through reconnecting, going to people who might have another sapia and going back to the elementals and wait to no avail.

Ok so i did a lot of stupid things before i read this topic , my problem is that i found the secret path i drank the septa i saw the corrupted elemental i killed , looted and placed the loot in to the shrine after that the quest seemed complete didn't know i had to speak with the spirit , didn't see a question mark from all the flashes and my septa expired after i heartstoned to barens ... What should i do ? Also i abandoned the quest after 7 quests so i thought i can claime it again in southern barens ?!?!?! please help , now i can't even get the quest from the beginning !

My problem is fixed somehow i got the quest twice and it was complete ty very much god

How did you fix it? I am having the same issue and I am unable to correct it. I've been everywhere (Silver Pine, Orggrimar, So. Barrens, Ratchet) I can't find a place to pick up the quest again...
